This Ben Howard gig poster was back from when he was starting of as an artist trying to breakthrough into the industry. I felt it was important to include this magazine poster as I can use inspiration from this to bring back and make new, still keeping this brand of Ben and building it up as he becomes a bigger artist.
The poster itself is actually quite controversial, with the inside of Ben showing tree trunks which could link to his song 'Old Pine' which is a shared knowledge as his fans would understand this. Aesthetically we also see a colour scheme of blue and black which Ben Howard is known for (particularly the shades of blue) which again is repeating this idea of branding Ben himself.
We actually see a variation of different fonts within this design however but only three at the most, I believe this is to really emphasise Ben Howard as the design team have kept his standard font but I believe have used the others to question the viewer why they have done that when they're used to seeing a consistent theme.
Lastly I believe another successful aspect is the use of the highlighter to really entice the viewer into the writing which is surprising because as a viewer you want to look at the pictures first and not the text, but the black highlight does the opposite within this design.
